Comment:

 I don't think this is a good enhancement for core - it will cause the
 WYSIWYG display to not actually represent what the result will be. What
 happens if I'm putting a transparent PNG on a light background because I
 want it that way? I would see that background for no good reason. If your
 site has a dark background, the editor style should reflect that. If you'd
 rather compose on a light background (perfectly understandable), then the
 editor style can add the background.
