Comment:

 30556.1.diff looks good.

 If a theme author adds support for HTML5 widgets, it's not too much to ask
 to know what it does. Adding HTML5 support to WordPress features also lets
 us do things in a new way without having to worry about backwards
 compatibility. Additions are usually announced on make/core as well.
