 I prefer the first concept, although the button styling doesn't really fit
 with the Customizer. What if we just put the text "change" directly inline
 in the styling of the panel arrows?

 The second two use too much vertical space, since most users won't need to
 change this frequently and it lives at the top. But I think my preference
 would be to use the third version for the styling in the panel, with the
 active theme + screenshot + Customize button highlighted above the search,
 and not showing the active theme below. The active theme could still link
 to the details view there, but that's probably unnecessary.
