Comment:

 As I suggest, it's probably something like 'pre_get_posts', 'parse_query',
 or 'parse_request'. I'd recommend using process of elimination to narrow
 down the guilty plugin, and directing a support request to that plugin's
 author. In the meantime, I'm going to close this ticket, as it appears to
 be unrelated to WP core.
