 Hi @fanny300,

 Have you tried to do the following:

 1. Click on the "Screen Options" button on the top right portion of your
 screen.
 1. A box gets revealed with some options concerning the post editing
 screen.
 1. Below "Show on Screen", there is a "Categories" checkbox. Make sure
 this is enabled (checked). If it is enabled currently, click on it twice
 so it gets enabled.
