 img longdesc has the capability to helping assistive technologies further
 explain what an image means via screen readers and low vision users. It's
 also a great image search tool to provide further detail around images.

 I would add this for image management in posts and featured page/post
 images and update codex. And, in all stock themes bundled with WP.

 img longdesc was reinstated into the HTML5 specifications.
