 [attachment:14761.3.diff] is a new patch that includes the suggested
 improvements from #35227.

 Relies on the patches of the following tickets, which makes this one much
 more readable:

 * #35234 for `WP::remove_query_var()`
 * #35235 for `remove_permastruct()`
 * #35236 for `remove_rewrite_tag()`
