 Since the introduction of https://core.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/35821
 in https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/34898, the ability for srcsets
 to be added to images with external src URLs has been stopped. For
 example, our plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/amazon-s3-and-
 cloudfront/ replaces local URLs with S3 ones in post content, currently
 srcset will not be added.
