 I still stand by my comment from four years ago: adding "widget groups"
 will potentially make the UI a lot harder to understand for most users.
 I'd really like to see step-by-step wireframes that show the workflow with
 a theme with 6-7 sidebars plus 6-7 "widget groups".

 I understand that the customizer is missing the "inactive widgets" area so
 it is impossible to recover widgets that have lost their places after
 switching themes, but perhaps we can do a better job of re-mapping the
 sidebars from the previous theme.
