 Well, I just played with it and it is easier than I thought.
 [attachment:34988.3.patch] separates the logic. Editing a term works
 flawlessly. I added a redirect from the old place to catch any old URLs,
 so that'd be safe.

 This patch of course also fixes the initially reported issue.
