Comment:

 @westonruter and I have riffed on the idea of booting the Customizer in
 alternative, specific contexts (see [https://github.com/ericandrewlewis
 /wp-custom-css-per-post our Custom CSS per post plugin]).

 We should not support the approach suggested in this ticket.
