 This looks way cleaner to me. When the button is blue, I'm wondering if
 there is enough contrast between the button itself and the outline. Might
 want to create a stronger difference, either by making the focus state a
 dotted/dashed line, or by changing the outline color to be more distinctly
 different.

 I may be overthinking this.
