Comment:

 Patch [attachment:16116.patch] applies cleanly and has the effect of
 removing the ability to trash an empty autosave until it has meaningful
 content attached to it.

 It seems to address well the conversation from @nacin and @jdgrimes. You
 can no longer trash an autosave, nor do you get a nonsensical offer to
 undo that trashing. ????
