Comment:

 Could you please describe how you repair an incomplete update? I am unable
 to publish any new item such as a post since the update. However, the
 forum is working, folks are publishing topics and replies.

 I've gone through the whole spectrum of turning off plugins, using generic
 theme, clearing cache, rebooting computer, trying different browsers,
 different computers. Nothing has worked. I can go into the database and
 change the status of a test post to "publish" and that will publish the
 post. But I cannot go back into the dashboard, edit and save changes.

 I am unwilling to try some of the more drastic fixes I have read, like
 altering code in certain files, until I know that this is absolutely not a
 problem with this update.

 If it is a problem with the update, I need a bit more guidance.
