 Can you give me some more info in which file is_writable() is located,
 please.  Maybe some crude flow of the code (e.g. for a few functions calls
 BEFORE is_writable() is called) so I do not start completely blind ;-),
 thanks.

 I will do some debugging on my system in a couple of hours (need to do
 some other stuff first but I will have a few hours spare later on today).
