 FWIW, the metaboxes we are patching here are likely a few of the last
 remaining that haven't seen a refresh in the past 5 years or so. All of
 `comment.php` and it's relative parts should be totally brought up to
 speed with the rest of WordPress eventually. These patches are purposely
 minimally evasive.
