 Are you using Windows XP?

 It's best practice not to be testing for things like this on older,
 unsupported operating systems - otherwise we'll never move forward with
 newer standards, we'd be stuck in the past trying to get unsupported
 software/hardware to work optimally, for which they were not originally
 made for.
