 Hi, I'm not sure if this is a feature request or if something already
 exists (I could not find any info on the web searching for it).

 I'm wondering given the dashicons font is part of the core and compiled
 and distributed as a font, rather than source, how would one, either by
 customizing core or via a plugin extend/modify the dashicons font, either
 by providing an overlay font to the css rules or by actually recompiling
 the original but was wanted to run this by you guys and see what the
 recommended approach was.

 In case plugin/theme developers wanted to extend dashicons, what's the
 suggested approach and if no ideal one exists, could we get something
 planned for some release in the future where that would be easy/trivial to
 do?
