 Hi @programmin,

 The cause is at Youtube, either they have a bug but more likely the video
 is set such that embeds are not permitted.

 For Youtube embeds - and oembeds generally - once the URL is replaced with
 content, WordPress has done its work and can be considered to have worked.
 Even if the video doesn't play.

 I'll mark this ticket closed for now.
