Comment:

 I just went to do an svn co to try to push this to the main trunk and it
 was already done. I don't know if this means that the WordPress version
 I'm using (latest) is still using old repositories or what... But it
 appears to be fixed in the main trunk here:
 http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/wordpress-importer/
 Not sure how that is setup...
