 In 4.3 RC the wp.mce.av seems to have been removed/reworked, only
 reference to it is a private 'av' variable, with different values.

 If this is in error perhaps #28458 should be reopened.

 Previously you could reinvent the ajax behavior by changing
 wp.mce.av.View.fetch function. How can you do this in 4.3?
