 At the end of the day, the only features that need to be in WordPress are
 those that are used by 90% of users. What % of users do you think actively
 use and rely on the title attr option? I would guess under 10%. But then
 of those that do use it, they are probably aware and capable of adding it
 to the HTML itself.

 Keeping it just because a minority group finds it of value completely goes
 agains the [WordPress
 Philosophy](https://wordpress.org/about/philosophy/).

 kudos to the team on removing it and to Enticknap for being very
 understanding of the reasons behind it.
