 Was thinking something similar: we probably should try "merging" DFW with
 editor scrolling, not "removing DFW".

 Fading out the rest of the UI on pressing the Fullscreen button may work.
 Fading in the UI on moving the mouse to a particular place or scrolling
 past the editor end may work too... Needs more experimenting :)
