 This looks bad. 7.1.2 works well here too.

 Don't think testing in other iOS browsers is necessary. As far as I know
 Apple doesn't allow other JS engines, so all iOS browsers use Safari under
 the hood (that's why there is no Firefox for iOS).

 Thinking it's worth it trying the "browser uploader" from Media=>Add New
 screen to confirm whether this is a Plupload problem. Contacted the
 Plupload devs too.
