Comment:

 While I appreciate the effort that you've put into this, we're not
 interested in refactoring WPDB at this time.

 As a general rule, WordPress avoids refactoring code in large chunks, as
 it inevitably introduces new bugs, and makes the mission of maintaining
 backwards compatibility quite difficult.

 We greatly appreciate contributions, but in the future, I'd recommend you
 open a ticket ''before'' you write such a huge amount of code. :-)
