 That definitely solves the general case, but there's the edge case I
 mention above. If that's OK, I'm happy to upload a patch (or you can just
 do it — just delete [these three
 lines](https://github.com/WordPress/WordPress/blob/master/wp-
 includes/media.php#L1880).
