Comment:

 For the most part, I think we're quite happy with the Open Sans font for
 now, which fits all the guidelines we wanted in a font.

 Font choices are also a very personal taste, and also varies upon the
 local language being used. There's nothing stopping you from using a
 plugin to change the font to another if you so wish.

 You might want to start a discussion on the [http://make.wordpress.org/ui/
 UI p2] to get a proper conversation happening, which would be a better
 location for such a discussion (Trac is mostly for bugs, not discussions).
