 I am going to strongly object to this being on ("auto") by default - while
 I'm sure some bloggers *might* like it, I can guarantee that no one who
 produces Dealbook is going to want anything to do with it.

 I have love and respect for everyone who is working on this - I still
 severely dislike the fading.
