 I appreciate your frustration, but this is most definitely an isolated
 issue related to your setup. Of the millions of people running WordPress,
 this is not a widely reported issue.

 * Anything in the JS console?
 * Anything in the Apache error logs?
 * Anything weird in the Apache access logs?
 * What are your file/folder permissions for `wp-content/uploads`?
 * What is a public site that is affected, can I have the URL?

 I will help you resolve this.
