Comment:

 Good idea! Changing the defaults like that is probably not very backwards
 compatible though.

 We could use the HTML5 theme support construct to overwrite those defaults
 with aside tags, in case a theme adds support for HTML5 widgets. We could
 also use it to change the default widget heading class from `widgettitle`
 to `widget-title`.
