Some positive feedback here. I write such plugin which caches term_ids
(and even associations between these term_ids). I just tested with the
beta 2 and the action 'split_shared_term' is just perfect to update the
cache. One remark though: since I store associations of term_ids, I need
to split the associated terms. The best function to do this is to use
_split_shared_term. Is there any reason why you want to keep it private?
