 I found this bug too.  Turns out it was the Mandril plugin.

 It seems to malform the link removing "<html:/" in plain text and retain
 the <URLHERE> format in html - which is an invalid html tag and therefore
 not visible.

 Just leaving this here incase google leads others here...
