 Just wanted to mention in case this had not been considered, fixing this
 could break a LOT of existing plugins that are using fake pages for
 registering with settings sections (especially for tabbed settings pages).

 I tested some of the fixes mentioned above, the most noticeable error was
 it broke with BuddyPress, but any other plugins that are using 'fake'
 settings pages will need to be updated.
