Comment:

 Curious why this is limited to `social` only and not all menus in the
 theme? Seems to me that it shouldn't matter if the menu is `social` or
 `primary`, the obfuscation would be helpful. So maybe just ditch `if (
 'social' == $args->theme_location ) {` entirely?
