 I hear you but I hesitate to introduce another hover pattern for widgets.
 I'll leave it as it is for now.

 It's interesting but the limited compatibility is a deal breaker for a
 default theme which needs to support reasonably IE8 and 7.

 Good catch on other points. I've updated the patch.
