 I managed to solve the problem by editing "script-loader.php" and
 replacing:

 {{{
                 'language' => get_bloginfo( 'language' ),
 }}}

 with:

 {{{
                 'language' => substr( get_bloginfo( 'language' ) , 0, 2 ),
 }}}
