 localizations.  Hopefully it would not get political as any translator who
 disagreed with a translation in the default could just change it for their
 specific locale.

 The problem with this is that there is no such thing as a "generic"
 version everyone would agree on, for any language, even if vaguely, and
 you'd end up with a total of 0 volunteers to translate that version. And
 of course, it would **immediately** get political, before anything else.
