 Yeah, but debugging a bit I found out it was due to line 2943 in wp-
 includes/post.php, the condition

 {{{
 #!php
 'default' != $page_template && ! isset( $page_templates[ $page_template ]
 )
 }}}

 returns true (since the template is not 'default').
