Comment (by helen):

 I think we can go the direction of [attachment:27173.4.diff], but without
 keying to color schemes, and my inclination is to go with the Webkit blue
 of #5b9dd9 for the border color instead, which is just a bit lighter. See
 screenshot above. The bouncing was neat, but I think overkill.
