 [attachment: media-library-mobile.png] is my first shot at wireframing out
 what a better responsive media library could look like. To save space and
 organize the navigation a but, I've collapsed the menu into dropdown. I'm
 not sure it's clear that it's the media modal's menu, so it could probably
 use a better label. Secondly, instead of showing both your library and the
 image details, the details slide out to the left when an image is
 selected. As per these wireframes, there still isn't a way to select
 multiple items at once in "insert media" mode — that's only something you
 can do in gallery/playlist mode. There are still some issues to smooth
 out, so feedback (especially UX feedback) would be appreciated. I'll also
 attach my Balsamiq file, if anyone wants to play around with it.
