 Thank you, but my problem is scenario number 4.

 There is activation email:

 And it should be sent probably here:
 https://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/3.8.1/src/wp-includes/ms-
 functions.php#L873

 I tried Email Log plugin and wp_mail() call is logged, but no email never
 received.

 I tried also scenario number 1 and it works well, there are two emails
 (registration and notification).
