 [attachment:27423-01.patch 27423-01.patch] takes the initial step of
 adding support for selecting multiple images when interacting via touch.
 Instead of toggling the selected state when toggling, when interacting via
 touch images are always adding to the selection when the browser is in
 multi-select mode. The user can remove an image from the selection by
 tapping the checkbox. Not sure if we want to somehow better indicate that
 tapping on the checkmark will remove the item from the selection or not
 since there is no hover when interacting with touch.
