 Has this been fixed, as well as in relation to the theme preview fault
 [27897 closed defect (bug)  (fixed) Theme preview empties sidebar on
 active theme]?

 I tried changing theme after reading that it was fixed in 27897 but it
 still dumped the sidebar.  I'd like to preview themes but don't want to
 risk it if it's still a work in progress.
