Comment:

 If we move forward with this, it would probably be worth creating new
 Dashicons especially for the customizer, with better ones for the default
 sections and maybe a couple that would be commonly used by themes and
 plugins. For now, I selected reasonably relevant icons to demonstrate the
 potential implementation.
