 @johnbillion - I think select is a wise choice.   It has better cross-
 platform support even if it is a lot harder to craft a nice UX around it.

 At least the "div patch" is noted in case others run into fieldset styling
 issues in the future.

 <tangent>It is 2014... why is HTML + CSS styling still such a
 pain?!?!</tangent>
