 Galleries are great, but if you add a lot of images to a single gallery
 the page will take a while to load.

 I think it would be nice to add a new option, maybe just a new gallery
 shortcode parameter at first, that would allow post authors to define a
 number of images per page, thus breaking galleries into different pages,
 much like we do with
 [https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_link_pages single post
 pagination] today.
