 Fair point, except that Genericons doesn't have a Print or Phone icon
 either. And given the previous discussion
 ([https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/24864]), Genericons are almost
 certainly not going to be added to the core. Dashicons, though, ''is'' in
 the core, and these icons have a such a broad use, why not? We already
 have two almost identical dashboard icons. (Dashboard and Performance).
