 Or another idea:
 - In media upload folder create a new folder backgrounds.
 - If I want to upload a picture, I can mark this as a background picture.
 - This picture is in the folder "backgrounds" stored only in original size
 without resizing.
 - And the pictures are me to choose from in Costumizer -> themes ->
 background pictures  available.
