 The two revised files above can be installed as plugins and have been
 tested against trunk.

 Needed to use another way to hook them in - opted for
 `edit_form_after_title` for lack of anything better.

 I will be posting a patch shortly that eliminates nearly all of this mess
 and integrates the plugin concepts into the core files, with some
 appropriate hooks created to avoid having to duplicate large swatches of
 core code just to be able to extend the editor.
