 I just posted a blog post about the whole image workflow:
 http://markoheijnen.com/changing-the-image-workflow. Also I wasn't talking
 here about any UI specific things.

 It was not my intention to make it harder then it is. But the code behind
 this patch was completely revamped. So it does needs to be checked if this
 is still the right way.

 So this patch is good for me but a few things need to change:
  - coding standards need to be followed
  - The filter needs documentation
  - The filter also need to pass the given $crop value
  - Needs unit tests
